A bunutan (or bunot) is how most Filipino groups decide who gives a gift to whom at the Christmas party: everyone writes their name on a slip, draws one, and keeps it secret until the exchange. An online bunutan does the same draw without the bowl, so it also works for remote teammates, family abroad and barkadas who can’t meet before the party.
To do your bunutan online, create a free group with your party name, the exchange date and the gift budget. Share the group link in your Messenger or Viber group chat. Each person joins with their email, confirms it, and adds a wishlist so their giver knows what to buy.
